At Snowden & Co., we always encourage our customers to think about where their fish is coming from. As overfishing continues to make headlines, we are pushing ourselves to be as environmentally-conscious as we possibly can. This means that all of our fish is sourced from sustainable, ethical stocks all over the world; not just local fish stocks in British waters. We figure that this way is better for the environment, healthier for the consumer and we can vouch for it having a better taste too! However, being so particular about our stock means that our range of fresh and frozen fish is seasonal and is subject to change on a very regular basis. If you have a particular fish in mind that you simply can’t do without, it’s always best to contact us beforehand to see if we have it available.

Much like the tides, a lot of our stock comes and goes. We could have swordfish one day, red snappers the next, and tuna the day after.
